To Make A Difference

Build Days

Get hands-on construction experience and make a tangible difference in Tuscaloosa by working on Habitat build sites. No prior experience required.

Habitat for Humanity Wake Volunteer ReSt

Tuscaloosa ReStore

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are community assets that provide donated goods for affordable prices. ReStores are owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build strength, stability and self-reliance locally and around the world.

Fundraising

Habitat works hard to select candidates for their homes that are financially viable for both the homeowner and Habitat. However, there is no such thing as a free house. Please consider donating to support us in our efforts to build homes.

Outreach

Housing insecurity is an issue that impacts Tuscaloosa residents. We organize workshops and give platforms to guest speakers to spread awareness of this issue and others to students and staff on campus.
